Palestinians PALESTINIANS MARCH IN SUPPORT OF SADDAM
Posted by WhoDaresWins on Friday, January 17, 2003 (12:08:02) (339 reads)

Fri Jan 17, 8:56 AM ET - AP By IBRAHIM BARZAK, Associated Press Writer

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip - Thousands of Palestinians toting pictures of Saddam Hussein marched in support of the Iraqi leader Friday as Israelis lined up for gas masks, fearing attack on their cities if the United States goes to war with Iraq. Also Friday, the Islamic militant group Hamas claimed responsibility for a botched attack with a booby-trapped raft. An Israeli navy gunship fired on the dinghy, causing a large explosion off northern Gaza. Hamas did not say what the attacker's target was, but several Jewish settlements are near the shore in that area.

In Gaza City, about 3,500 Palestinians filled narrow streets with fluttering Iraqi flags and pictures of Saddam. Some chanted together, "Our beloved Saddam, strike Tel Aviv," reviving an old slogan from the 1991 Gulf War.

Posted by WhoDaresWins on Thursday, January 16, 2003 (15:39:58) (257 reads)

Thu Jan 16,12:08 PM ET

PRAGUE, Czech Republic - The upper chamber of the Czech Parliament agreed overwhelmingly Thursday to deploy chemical weapons troops to Iraq in the event of war.

The vote in the Czech Senate was 70-3, with three abstentions and five absent. The decision still needs the approval of the lower chamber of the parliament.

Under the measure, the unit could be sent to treat soldiers injured by chemical or biological weapons attacks - with or without a U.N. Security Council resolution calling for their deployment.

By HAMZA HENDAWI, Associated Press Writer BAGHDAD, Iraq - An Iraqi scientist left his home Thursday with U.N. experts and accompanied them to a field outside Baghdad where together they inspected what appeared to be a man-made mound in the earth.
The events - unprecedented since inspectors in Iraq resumed their search for banned nuclear, chemical and biological weapons in November - came after the U.N. experts, going through documents outside the scientist's house, appeared to have a heated discussion with Iraqi liaison officials.

United States INTELLECTUAL RAPE OF OAKLAND SCHOOL CHILDREN BY BERKELY RADICALS
Posted by natedogg on Thursday, January 16, 2003 (11:24:30) (453 reads)

Back in the Sixties, Dan Siegel's claim to fame was leading the charge to tear down the fence around "People's Park," a lot owned by the University of California which was to be the site of new dorms. The charge led to the occupation of Berkeley by the National Guard, but in the end of course the radicals won. Intimidated by the left, supported as always by the media and all good thinking progressives, the University backed down and the lot became a park. Over the next thirty years the park became a home for Berkeley's derelicts, the site of many rapes and other urban crimes and the Center of Berkeley's heroin trade. Over the same years, Dan Siegel became involved in every radical cause that came along including support of America's enemies at home and abroad.

The Interfax-Military News Agency reported that the explosives, which were disarmed by sappers, were equivalent to about 44 pounds of TNT. They were found in the fuel tank of one car and in the trunk of another, the news agency said, citing police sources.

Iraq GROUND UNDER SADDAMS'S HEEL, SOUTHERN CLANS ARE SEETHING
Posted by WhoDaresWins on Wednesday, January 15, 2003 (23:17:36) (382 reads)

International Herald Tribune on Wednesday, January 15, 2003
Neil MacFarquhar The New York Times

KARBALA, Iraq - The Shiite Muslim clan that oversees the gilded shrine of Abbas, where officials of Iraq's ruling Ba'ath Party were hanged during the rebellion against President Saddam Hussein after the last Gulf war, decided recently that Iraq's ruler might need reassurance that no sequel was under consideration.

So 50 of them sent him an oversize petition written with their blood. "We declare that we will volunteer to defend our victorious Iraq and its holy land," read the flowing, five-centimeter (two-inch) high maroon script in part. "We give you our commitment as loyal men to stand behind the banner of 'God is Great,' to stand against the evil West, the infidels and international Zionism."

BERLIN - Germany's top law enforcement official outlawed an Islamic organization Wednesday, citing the spread of anti-Semitic and anti-Israel propaganda to explain the third such ban since Sept. 11.
Little is known about the organization and structure of Hizb ut-Tahrir, but German authorities say the group - whose name means Liberation party - advocates the destruction of Israel and has called for the killing of Jews.
In conjunction with the ban, police raided 30 properties in five of Germany's 16 states, seizing propaganda but making no arrests.

"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived." - General George S Patton

REMEMBER 9-11
"Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say, 'What should be the reward of such sacrifices?' ... If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom...crouch down and lick the hands, which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!"

Samuel Adams
